Installation of an EV chargepoint
Three years after getting an EV, an 7kW EO EV chargepoint was installed by Everwarm – meaning a window no longer had to be left open overnight with a plug-in 2.5kW EV charger being used.
The subsequently installed solar PV system can only produce a maximum of 4kW, so grid electricity had to be imported if the car was charged during the day, but nighttime cheap rate EV electricity tariffs can be used.
